O5. JUNE / 06. JUNE / O7.JUNE
༺ 50+ sonic explorations and site-responsive INTERVENTIONS ༻
༺ Two listening realms FUSED into the ancient limestone ༻
༺ Three days of zero overlapping sets ༻
༺ No FOMO sprints ≋ just deep dives into sound AND BEYOND ༻
This June, the main NiANSA portal stabilizes once again.
A transient time capsule of magical miniatures,
body tensors, fluctuating visions, sensory souvenirs,
extended natures, and pressurized air illusions.
A multilayer interzone where temporary artifacts
and holographic mirages blur in spacetime decompression.
A clandestine, slow-grown paradox.
Quietly ambitious, stubbornly small.
Cross the threshold 𓁿 lightly.

Nested within the moss-crowned grottoes and limestone formations of Rakov Škocjan,
our main gathering point orbits around Guest-house Rakov Škocjan, settled just 150 meters from the sublime, ever-flowing Rak River and a 10-minute walk from the majestic Big and Small Natural Bridges.
Over three days (June 5th–7th, 2026), this wild, extraordinary karst terrain transforms once more into a shimmering, kaleidoscopic playground for sensory exploration and deep-listening immersion.

Amidst the primordial karst terrain of Slovenia’s Rakov Škocjan, we craft intentional space for collective listening and shared discovery, giving life to a transient, ephemeral community powered by mutual exchange between audiences, artists, and the intimate environment shared by humans and non-humans alike.
NiANSA’s program unfolds across three days and nights as a continuous stream, from amber mornings to velvet hours, interweaving avant-garde ambience and electronics, left-field sonics, exploratory dance, morphing club textures, augmented field recordings, and all-around sonic experimentalism. Beyond the auditory dimension, scenographic works such as site-specific installations, contemporary dance performances, and unique world-building experiences transform the landscape zone during NiANSA, offering a full-spectrum sensory delight for every voyager traversing with us.
The communal aspects of the gathering emerge organically, with shared curated meals and artisan-crafted liquid offerings amid bespoke chill-out spaces, facilitating natural and impromptu interactions between participants. The luminous karst terrain becomes both venue and creative collaborator through site-responsive works such as projection mappings that shapeshift across limestone faces, environmental sound works that converse with the elements, and performances that emerge organically from the landscape itself.
